前天经过田东县思林镇、平果县果化镇一带，看到那里的木棉花还在盛开，花期已超过半个月。有人说，平果县应该抓住这个题材做点旅游宣传，甚至可以举办“木棉花节”，其效应不会亚于黔西南安龙县的“荷花节”、兴义市的“桃花节”。我觉得这也是个旅游开发的思路，可以跟当地某个较大的歌圩结合推出。


昨天在南宁仙葫开发区，我们看到邕江北岸木棉花开得很鲜艳，而且这岸边的木棉树虽然不很密集，长得很高大，这更算得上典型的木棉树。昨天我们还在南宁市白沙大桥至白沙大道江南路口看到道路中间长长的隔离带上密集种植的木棉树，盛开着艳红的木棉花，甚是抢眼。可惜那时我们在从朗东赶往大沙田途中，不便停下来拍照。

马岭镇是著名的马岭河峡谷漂流的起点。3月23日下午我在从兴义顶效镇到清水河镇途中，看到了324国道边这棵正在开花的木棉树，很是兴奋，可惜当时没带照相机。昨天（3月24日）下午，为了不错过这难得的景色，我专门去了马岭镇，在天黑之前拍下了这些照片。其实，一路上乘车我们看到的木棉树不止一棵，有个路段我就看到了排列的四棵木棉树，都很老，但不开花。

昨晚我跟云南元谋的一个同学在网上聊天时，得知那里的木棉花已经开过了，而且从他那里印证了四川攀枝花市也有木棉树、木棉花。云南元谋县和四川攀枝花市离得不远，都在金沙江畔，都很热。金沙江那么远的地方尚有木棉树，离桂西北、滇东南不远的黔西南州有木棉树也就没什么奇怪了。

3月5日傍晚，我又去了百色“木棉谷”。那里有近百株木棉树，去年大约三分之二的木棉树开了花，山谷一片火红。今年这个山谷大约只有三分之一的木棉树开花，想找一棵矮一点的木棉树近距离拍摄木棉花都很困难。去年鲜花盛开的几棵木棉树今年几乎不开花，这次我才知道木棉花也有大小年。拍不到什么好照片，我干脆登山去，从山谷到山顶没有路，我在草丛中钻了一个小时，才爬到山顶（高压塔架那里），然后趁着太阳刚刚落山顺山脊抄小路下山。
